The Excel Centre is situated on the Aberdeen Science and Energy Park close to the A90 trunk road in Bridge of Don, approximately 3 miles north of the city centre. The Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) is located nearby as is the Aberdeen Science and Energy Park. Strategically located to Aberdeen's main arterial routes, The Excel Centre is easily accessible from all parts of the UK and overseas, with excellent transport links provided by road, rail, air and sea.

Road communications will be further enhanced following completion of the proposed Western Peripheral Route. The Bridge of Don Park & Ride facility is located within 5 minutes walk of the Excel Centre.
